The Client Brief

With an out of date layout and cabinetry that looked worn out, our client knew a kitchen renovation was overdue. She wanted a seamless look for her kitchen renovation - crisp, clean lines and more room for entertaining formed part of the kitchen renovation brief. The project also included bathroom joinery and new laundry space.

The Challenge

A 'dog-leg' jutted out from the rear wall impeding the kitchen flow. The current kitchen layout was outdated, had little room to entertain and was cramped to work in. Laundry and bathroom spaces were compact with limited room for storage. 

The Design Solution

We decided to increase the cabinetry depth to disguise the protruding nib top create a completely flush and seamless pantry wall. A kitchen island was included in the new layout which opened up the space for entertaining, providing a dedicated casual dining space, additional meal prep area. Using integrated appliances (fridge and dishwasher) further supported the smooth minimal lines of this renovated kitchen space. The new layout also allowed for more cabinetry space and storage was doubled.

The Result

A beautiful and functional entertainers kitchen, laundry and bathroom spaces with a minimalist feel. Clean lines and a crisp white colour scheme provides the perfect foundation for the style of this contemporary living space. Our client now has a kitchen she enjoys working in that is easy to entertain guests.
