The Client Brief

Our client loves metallics and so it was only natural she wanted to inlcude this design element in the heart of her home. She needed a kitchen that was contemporary in keeping with her new home build. The brief included plenty of storage and a place for casual dining and entertaining family and friends.

The Challenge

It was important we ensured this grand kitchen was in keeping with the remaining home build in terms of aesthetic. We also needed to be flexible, ensuring our production schedule, and delivery timeframes met critical deadlines that come with a new home build. The dedicated kitchen space was substantial, and we wanted to ensure we created the perfect space for Helen, that created optimum workflow with enough room to entertain family and friends with ease.

The Design Solution

An island kitchen design provided the perfect contemporary layout for this kitchen project. We located the cooking zone to the left rear within easy access of the butler's pantry. Consumables were positioned to the right of the butler's and main kitchen, making both easily accessible from the outdoors. The 4.5m long island was constructed with custom storage on either side and seating for up to 6 people. A fully integrated tech tower was seamlessly installed within the island counter top, making this area a truly multifunctional space. A fully equipped butler's pantry provides a dedicated workspace when entertaining.  Custom CV cabintery doors in a subtle metallic finish was selected to complement the all white cabintery and met the clients design brief. 

The Result

A contemporary kitchen, featuring smart tech and storage solutions, efficient workflow and plenty of room for casual dining and entertaining.​ Our client now has her dream kitchen, featuring gold accents and handless cabinetry creating the streamlined look she was after. The new kitchen layout flows seamlessly with the adjacent living areas.
