The Client Brief

Our lovely client had a run-down kitchen that needed renovation. The current kitchen layout was dated, making it challenging to work in. She wanted a 'kitchen with character" that better reflected her personal style and taste, loads of storage and modern functionality.

The Challenge

Our client was correct. The previous kitchen layout was dated, so we needed to create a new kitchen design that optimised storage and functionality and incorporated our client's style preference. 

The Design Solution

A new, more contemporary layout was designed. We relocated the fridge to a more convenient location and created a dedicated pantry/storage wall with extra space for consumables. We opted for floating shelving to give the room a more open feel, flanked by tall cabinets for additional storage. An island was included providing plenty of prep space and a spot for casual dining. Natural spotted gum was introduced to add warmth to the space.

The Result

A contemporary kitchen layout our client enjoys working in every day. A new custom kitchen that reflects our client's style and delivers ample storage, greater functionality and room for casual dining.
