1. Get inspired and set a realistic budget

Check out online resources for inspiration, ideas and the latest trends. Our projects are a great place to start. It’s important to determine your budget from the outset to help with the initial consultation.

2. Initial consultation

One of our designers will review your renovation ideas, recommend a design solution specific to your unique needs and budget, and provide a proposal with an initial cost estimate. They will help you set a realistic budget to ensure you don’t over-stretch your finances or fall short of your expectations.

3. Onsite visit and final quotation

If you are happy with the initial design proposal and estimate, our designer will book a time for an onsite or Studio visit, where they will refine our initial proposal and estimate and complete a detailed plan of your new project, including design specifications, materials, fixtures, fittings and finishes. We’ll also set a start date and plan a schedule for completion at this time.

4. Building inspection

Your dedicated project manager will conduct a comprehensive building inspection and check measurements to ensure your new project fits perfectly so we avoid any nasty surprises.

5. Your renovation begins

We’ll carefully prepare your home for building, arrange delivery of components and promptly commence renovations. We’ll update you each week with a schedule of precisely who’s turning up and when.

6. Celebrate in your beautiful new space

Once complete, your project manager will inspect all components of the work against our comprehensive checklist to ensure your satisfaction. And then it’s time to enjoy your beautifully renovated home.

This depends on the extent of the renovation. Once we’ve scoped your project, our detailed estimate will give you a start and end date so you know exactly how long it will take.

However generally:

• A standard bathroom renovation with no structural work takes approximately 3 weeks from project commencement
• A standard kitchen renovation with no structural work can take 2 to 3 weeks from project commencement
• Cabinetry works vary depending on the project; however, a standard walk-in wardrobe with no structural work can take 2 to 3 days from project commencement.

The only way to really estimate the cost of your project is to have one of our designers visit you and assess your renovation requirements.

The estimates above include design concept, project management costs, all trades, removal and disposal of existing works, materials, insurance and permits required.

The estimates exclude appliances, fixtures, fittings, benchtops, and structural works.

Many of our clients renovate their kitchens, bathrooms, laundries and other rooms in their homes at the same time. The advantages to doing this include:

1. Convenience

It’s much easier to move out for a few weeks and then return to your newly renovated home rather than completing one project at a time, which takes longer.

2. Financial

You may enjoy economies of scale when the bathroom and kitchen remodel is rolled into one. You save on insurance, permits, bins, time for trades, house protection, cleaning, and more.

3. One look for your home

A common design theme can be woven through your home renovation when completed at the same time. Your cabinetry, fixtures and fittings are the same or similar throughout each room, creating consistency that can also add value to your home.

4. One company

Having one company complete your entire renovation simplifies things for you. Instead of working with and managing several tradespeople, you have one designer, one set of paperwork, and one project manager, alleviating the stress and saving you time and money. 

You can choose to stay in your home throughout the renovation. Our team of professionals will endeavour to respect your space during the renovation period.

However, it is important to note that your kitchen and bathroom will be out of action during the renovation process. Some clients decide to move out during the beginning of the renovation for convenience, especially in the case of bathroom renovations where they lose the use of their only bathroom.

If you have more than one bathroom, we can renovate one at a time so that you can save on offsite accommodation.

In the case of larger-scale renovations, we usually recommend you stay elsewhere during the renovation — it’s no fun living in a construction site.

All of our work is backed by a full, 6-year waterproofing guarantee, 10 years on cabinetry and 12 months on trades.

For an average-sized kitchen, single benchtop installation usually takes between 2 to 4 hours, sometimes half a day, depending on the size and complexity of the job.

Yes, definitely. We understand that most of our clients are not available during business hours, so we will come and see you at your convenience.

We appoint a dedicated project manager to you after design completion. This makes it easy for you to know exactly what is happening and when. If you have a question, you have one point of contact, so you know exactly who to speak with, making the experience smooth and hassle-free. 

No. Many clients organise access for us, and we can complete your new kitchen, bathroom or home renovation without you having to be on site.

We do not specialise or recommend this kind of kitchen makeover. In our experience, it doesn’t offer clients the best value for money and, more often than not, there is a lack of quality and finish in the completed job. You will need to approach a kitchen makeover business to complete this type of project.

We cannot advise you on whether it is worth investing in a new kitchen. However, a new kitchen can add between 5% and 15% to the value of your home. It is the most used room in the home and is definitely one of the most important factors when buyers are choosing a home.
